Donald Trump & The Planets collection



1. The official exhibition poster designed by the illustrator Steve Keane a.k.a. Chaos Vs Cosmos.

2. Wesley Wolkman  or Designzelganger . Belgain 4-piece art collective created this huge portrait 8ft x 4ft. One of five works submitted to the exhibition. They drove from Antwerp in Belgium to Leeds in UK to attend the first Donald Trump & The Planets exhibition. Arriving at 3am (seven hours late for the opening night event), they forgot to bring bedding and so slept in a rolled-up canvas and the curtains from my lounge.

3. Artist Shakeeb Abu Hamdan painted this ghostly sperm like portrait of Donald Trump. 'Keeby' is the bassist in Cleckhuddersfax and drummer in both Please and Poltergroom.

8. Neil Andrews - 'Ever Shown Prawn To A Horse?' Indeed! Artist Neil Andrews trained at Kingston University and is now a fine jewellery maker based in Hampshire, British Isles.

9. Robert Stone - 'A Decade of Rain'. Artist and writer Robert Stone trained at Kingston University, London and lives and works in Berlin.

10. Rebecca Gillieron - Prolific artist, poet and musician. Rebecca is Managing Editor at Supernova Books, London and writes songs and music for her band Wetdog on Angular Recording Corporation. Rebecca also sings and plays keyboards in the band known as PRIVATE TROUSERS.

11. Dan Laidler - 'A Collection of Weapons Taken From The Martian Head-hunters of Arsai Mons'. Artist Dan Laidler was also the frontman of John Peel favourites and stars of the hit parade: Tiger.

13. Kathryn Cooper - Artist Kathryn Cooper trained at Nottingham Trent University and still lives and works in the "hood". Kathryn is also the drummer in the group The Ice Cream Headaches.

14. Blair Vaux Nobes - Musician and Animator, Blair is the frontman of the nautical pop group Captain Blood Blood & The Seadogs. Blair writes these darkly surreal tales and sinister waltzes upon a sludge tanker docked in the battered harbour town resort of Southend-on-Sea where he is based.

21. Tomi Leppanen - Tomi is a graphic designer based in Finland and works under the name Computer Boys. Tomi also plays drums in the fizzy prog musak band: AAVIKKO.

23. Francois Marry - 'I'm Big'. Francois is a watercolour artist and a song writer. His group is known as Francois & The Atlas Mountains. Francois's portrait is drawn on some kind of French accounting document. Donald Trump's features and hair are made up of a multitude of very small pornographic drawings. Some of the ladies look like Kate Moss.

47. Syd Howells - 'A Young Donald Trump Discovers Early In His Career That Money Can Buy You A Rug'. Poet, Artist and Musician. Syd was in the band: Steveless. Notable for having no members going by the name of Steve. John Peel's all time favourite band name supposedly.

Author of Rain Later Good which includes Photorealist watercolours depitcting all the sea areas and coastal stations refered to in the Shipping Forcast, which is broadcast by BBC Radio 4 on behalf of the Martime and Coastguard Agency of the British Isles.
